Marco Barra Caracciolo

Marco Barra Caracciolo was born in Rome on September 16, 1958. In 1982 he graduated in Engineering from La Sapienza University and subsequently majored in Business Administration at SDA Bocconi University in Milan. From 1990 to 1998 he worked as manager for several listed electromechanical companies (ABB and Daimler Benz). From 1999 to 2005 he was a member of NordCom and Malpensa Express board and from 2002 to 2005 he co-operated with the National Commission for Environmental Impact Assessment (VIA) under the auspices of the Ministry of the Environment and Land Protection. From 2003 to 2006 he worked as general manager at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport. Since 2006 he has been working as NORD_ING general manager in charge of special projects promoted by FERROVIENORD.
